Abstract
IT service providers have limited resources to test bug fixes and new features required by IT services and the IT infrastructure. This challenge has led us to examine the research problem: How IT service provider organization can improve a testing during maintenance process? The main contribution of this study is to present a list of challenges and working practices related to the testing during maintenance process. Data for this study were collected by using a case study research method. Our case organization is a large scale Scandinavian IT service provider organization that operates in several business domains.
