Abstract
Traditionally antennas are made with metallic elements which conductivity is well known. Currently a novel field appears on antennas applied on textile. Those use new conductive textile materials, which conductivity is significantly different from standard metallic conductors. Nevertheless, knowing the conductivity of an antennas´ radiating element is crucial for antennas modeling. We therefore have exposed an experimental method on the characterization of electro-thread based on the principle of transmission and reflection.
