Abstract
In this paper, a multivariable boiler- turbine unit is controlled using Generalized Model Predictive Control (GPC). This control strategy for multivariable plant can achieve high performance and more effective than the traditional PID controllers. Also, predictive controllers for MIMO process does not need to retuning the parameters. The simulation results show that the tracking performance the desired values of the state variables. Furthermore, the disturbance rejection capability of GPC are investigated.
