Abstract
According to the dynamic and static data of the test area using steam flooding of Chao 119-52 well block in Chaoyanggou Oilfield, the geological model is established using Petrel software, and then numerical simulation is carried on using the STARS module of CMG software. The main research is about the law of steam flooding effect when the field is developed through steam flooding with the oil viscosity being ImPa-s, 2mPa-s, 5mPa-s, 8mPa-s, 10mPa-s, 15mPas, 20mPas, 30mPas, 50mPas and 100mPas respectively, the ten kinds of schemes under the reservior condition, and then compare it with conventional waterflooding development. The results show that the recovery of conventional water flooding is very sensitive to the formation oil viscosity and as the formation oil viscosity increases, the recovery of water flooding reduces sharply. All the results show that the minimum value of the oil viscosity turning to steam flooding development is selected as 10mPa-s for the low permeability reservior.
