Abstract :
The mathematical model on polymer-surfactant flooding is established in this paper. The viscosity of polymer-surfactant solution with different concentrations is measured with Brookfield Viscometer. On this basis, the polymer-surfactant injection concentration and quantity are optimized by the numerical simulation method. The geologic model controlled by facies is built. Then numerical simulation research using STARS module of software CMG is progressed. The influence with different injection concentration and quantity on development effect is studied. The results show that the critical concentration of polymer-surfactant is 1250mg/L, optimized injection concentration of polymer-surfactant is 1500mg/L, optimized injection quantity of polymer surfactant is 1PV. This study results are significant to the actual production of the oilfield.
