Process and Evaluation Index System of Selecting Outsourcing Vendors

When selecting outsourcing vendors, enterprises should first establish a proper selection process and evaluation system. This paper attempts to propose a five-stepped process, namely, setting up an evaluation-selection team, searching relative information of outsourcing vendors, establishing evaluation index system of outsourcing vendors, evaluating and selecting outsourcing vendors, and establishing cooperative relationship. This paper also attempts to establish an evaluation index system on the basis of strategic capabilities of outsourcing vendors, service values provided by outsourcing vendors, harmonious relationship, and social evaluation.
