Abstract
It is an important task of the modern medical education to improve scientific research quality and practice ability of medical undergraduates in early basic medical courses. The traditional didactic concept in medical courses comprises two parts that is theoretical and practical lessons. Web-based e-learning methods and basic medical BBS activities provide a new and attractive approach for both teachers and students in practical lessons. In this report, we discussed a web-based e-learning method and basic medical BBS activities to create a new multimedia instrument of histology teaching and evaluate the situations of scientific research quality of medical undergraduates. The results showed that these web-based programs provide a better approach to learn histology and improve scientific research quality.
