The characteristics of health Literacy of residents in hubei province

Objective: through the survey of the present health situation of residents in hubei province, and analysis of the influence factors in health and how these factors influence people´s health, strategy or standards can be provide the reference for carrying out health literacy monitoring and for health improvement and health education. Methods: according to the basic principles of the stratified sampling, health knowledge questionnaire survey in 1675 residents is carried out in urban and rural areas in hubei province The results: there are cognitive differences in health knowledge between urban and rural residents ,and overall cognitive level is low. Conclusion: to strengthen health life style and chronic, health education, infectious diseases and create supportive environment; Targeted health education activities are carried out, the level of people´s health accomplishment should be improved; rural health education work is Strengthened, and the rural residents healthy state is improved; citizens health literacy monitoring and evaluation system must be established.
