  • Abstract
    In this paper, a coaxial cylindrical electrode model was adopted to investigate the kinetic characteristic of different dust particles under strong electric field around insulators. The kinetic and deflection characteristics of different particles under different electric field were researched. The test results showed that the DC electric field had an greater effect on particles than the AC´s because the electric field force under DC is much larger than the polarization force under AC; The different kinetic characteristic between particles was due to their different particle size and microstructure.
