This paper takes the 10kV distribution system for example, modeling a neutral non-effectively grounded system. It studies on the single-phase-to-earth fault of the system and the cause of ferroresonance, analyzing the mechanism of ferroresonance caused by arc-extinguishing winding and PT saturation. By means of designing a system of resonance elimination of ungrounded power system, the study is simulated on the model of 10kV power system, and its running process is elaborated in the paper.
