Abstract :
Detection of tumors is a current problem in daily medicine. The problem of detecting possible lesions is very complex due to the diversity in shape and areas of the ill tissue. In this paper we propose two methods for the detection of masses in mammographic images that employs the top hat transform and mean shift segmentation approach.
