Abstract :
Polarimetric SAR interferometry (POLINSAR) techniques have been studied as hot research topics in the area of SAR remote sensing in recent years. At present, many POLINSAR systems were developed, and the first POLINSAR prototype in China is also developed by 38th Research Institute of CETC. There is an urgent need for the data from these sensors to be calibrated, so that the relationships between radar backscatter and geophysical parameters can be properly established. In this paper, we introduce internal and external calibration of POLINSAR. Then, the validation of calibration accuracy is implemented based on reflectors in experimental site. The results indicate crosstalk and imbalance can be improved after calibration.
