  • Abstract
    The certification of non-formal and formal learning is regarded as a way of improving life-long learning of an individual. Moreover, it is considered to contribute to supporting the flexibility of the labour market and that is recognized as an important element that supports the competitiveness of the economy. The European countries continuously point out the importance of learning certification of knowledge that is acquired besides the framework of a formal learning system, like the case of learning at the labour area, in the free time or even in the social and family environment and pursue the upgrade of the importance and the value of that knowledge. The goal of this paper is to study the evaluation possibilities of non-formal learning under the framework of their participation at the evaluation processes of higher education institutions.
