Data replication based location management for PCS network

Location management is a fundamental issue of the personal communication system. In this paper we have introduced a novel technique of location management. The proposed scheme is based on data replication from old home location register to current home location register of the mobile terminal. Here the current home location register replicate the data from old home location register then perform the location registration for mobile terminal. It has been observed that the proposed technique will reduced the location management cost and communication overheads in the network.
