Abstract :
The pH control finds wide applications in process industries. The pH process is a non-linear dynamic system and an extremely complex and challenging control problem in process industries. A considerable amount of research has been carried out on modeling, identification and control of nonlinear processes. Most dynamical systems can be better represented by nonlinear models, which are able to describe the global behavior of the system over the whole operating range. The pH process model is to obtain by performing empirical model identification on the experimental data from the process. The main contribution of this thesis is to identify suitable model and model structure of nonlinear pH process by using different nonlinear model families. And also introduces the comprehensive comparison with nonlinear model families in terms of accuracy and convergence speed.
