Abstract
Analysis and technique for harmonic elimination is introduced in this paper. The proposed technique eliminates harmonics component from the periodic waveform and it requires only knowledge of fundamental frequency of the periodic waveform. This technique utilizes multipliers, unit delay, adder and subtractor. Adaptation process exactly matches amplitude and phase of fundamental frequency component and eliminate harmonics form the periodic waveform. The bipolar waveforms are roughly analyzed and considered case of square wave pattern which contain all odd harmonics. The simulation result show that the method can effectively eliminate odd harmonics from square wave and sine wave is produced with total harmonic distortion less than one percentage.
