Abstract :
The present work is to make an attempt towards isolating and characterizing the plant phenolics of Senna alata and evaluated for their antibacterial activities against Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, Vibrio cholerae, Salmonella typhi and Staphylococcus They are also recommended as antifungal, antiparasitic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, antineoplastic, etc.
