  • Abstract
    This paper describes the design of a telecommunications network, system acquisition and visualization systems of physical variables involved in purifying water process of a treatment plant, for monitoring and control. The system designed is functional and flexible, due the possibility of monitored tank levels, flow rates and measured water chemistry conditions (pH, chlorine) on site and remotely through wireless communications. The system can be installed in any plant of this type with an efficient performance and the desired configuration by the user. His operation was simulated and implemented under real operating conditions to ensure the quality of treated water.
