Abstract :
Smart Home System is an intelligent home network combined with advanced communication technology to carry out effective control and information exchange. And home networking is the core to the implementation of a smart home system. This paper demonstrate a detail comparison and analysis of the wired and the wireless networking, making good use of the wired networking which is low-cost, high security, more stable, the wireless networking which is more flexible and more expansible. The purpose is to figure out a feasibility solution to meet the customers´ requirements and bring the highly-efficient, comfortable, safe, energy saving and convenient living environment to everyday life. The paper proposed an approach by using power line communication technology. It connects entire intranet and several wireless networking to connect home devices by existed power line, so that it reduces the cost and increase the security and performance of smart home. To show how the smart home networking could be used in people´s daily life, this paper also gives an example that is the dishes ordering system for housewife. The system will give the housewife some advices, connect households and the supermarket to support procurement requirements.
