Abstract :
The fast Z pinches are considered as a perspective source of powerful soft x-ray emission for the ICF pellet ignition. The physical phenomena which take place in process fast of Z-pinch implosion are under investigation in the TRINITI (Troisk), in the RSC Kurchatov Institute (KI, Moscow) and the HCEI (Tomsk).
