Abstract :
The questions of application of Plasma Opening Switch (POS) technology in a current breaker in the accelerator UIN-10 are presented. The principles of POS performance based on electric and constructive characteristics of the accelerator have also been reviewed. The use of POS allows increasing output and operational characteristics of the accelerator UIN-10.
