The deduction of health risk caused by air pollutants and realization of mobile visualization service by using Eco-indicator 99 methodology

The health risk information about air pollution in city areas is important to examine citizens´ quality of life. After designing the system in which citizens can check the quantities of air pollutants from various pollution sources in large city areas and the health risk through their daily communication methods like smart phones, we conducted tests to apply it to large city areas in Korea. In the designed system, the daily emission of the pollutants in cities are calculated, which is quantified as potential days of shortening life by applying health risk factors. After that, it is transmitted to mobile equipments after going through the hardening process as an adaptive data through user models.
