Abstract
Despite all of benefits of Micro-Grid, they creates too many problems, one of the most common is their frequency instability. Because the Micro-Grid includes dynamic generations and loads that make real power imbalance. These components mainly include: wind turbines, Photovoltaic and dynamic loads. Therefore Due to the random power fluctuations on the generation and load sides, different parameters constraint and limitation of generations and loads, it is difficult to find optimal controller parameters in order to minimize power fluctuation, therefore for these reasons a predictive control is applied to damp the frequency fluctuations and enhance the power imbalance. In this paper, all of the simulation and analysis is done in isolated mode, and to show effectiveness of model predictive controller, the results of proposed controller is compared with results obtained from PI controller.
