  • Abstract
As vehicles in operation, different resonance phenomena and mechanical friction coupling between the different structures exist. It has been known that these phenomena can be perceived as the form of different cyclic stationary noise sources. Vehicle noise sources signal is a kind of multi-component mixed signal with different cycle frequency. Considering the special character of the vehicle noise sources and with acoustic vector sensor array, a noise sources orientation identification method based on cyclic autocorrelation is proposed. It can selectively extract the interested components of the noise sources and present the exact location information. Compared with traditional methods, this method has a strong anti-noise capability and multi-component noise source location identification capabilities. Simulation results verify the performance of the method.
