Abstract :
Wireless networks suffer performance degradation due to multiple reasons such as multi-path, user mobility, and fading signals. To overcome the degraded performance, the more error-resistant channel reservation schemes are usually adopted. In this paper, we propose a dynamic TXOP (Transmission Opportunity) allocation scheme to support QoS (Quality of Service) for wireless networks, which assign the variable length of TXOPs to different traffics based on the precise channel condition prediction. The proposed scheme improves the performance in terms of throughput and end-to-end delay.
