  • Abstract
    With the development of virtual reality technology and increasing of ship vision simulation application, the database of virtual reality model needs to be built quickly and efficiently. With the analysis of modeling characteristic and data structure of virtual reality model, the transformation method of three-dimensional model from other format to OpenFlight format has been researched on. The source model file has been read by file reading and writing interface of OSG. The transition file has been built by program and transformed to OpenFlight format by the write function of OpenFlight API. The result show that this method can transform many kinds of three-dimensional model to OpenFlight format, which increasing the speed of virtual reality model database building.
