  • Abstract
    Web camera image databases and meteorological datasets from the observing stations provide critical resources for plant phenology and meteorological research. These data are valuable components for a variety of modeling applications, but there is a lack of comprehensive framework that provides archive and online analysis for image data and in-situ meteorological data. An efficient and easy-to-use way for data acquisition and processing is waiting to be discovered. This study focuses on developing a web based framework (http://159.226.111.45:8080/ImageProcess/rgb.jsp) to manage and analyze image data and meteorological data from observation stations. Our framework provides reliable data management for image data and meteorological data from the sensor network deployed over the stations in different regions, and has the ability to chart the time-series of statistics extracted from the image data and the related meteorological data. The implemented web interface for the framework is a powerful and useful tool for adding educational and scientific value to repeat digital photography systems.
