Abstract
One image-based evaluation method to determine the appearance changes of the wool knitted fabrics is investigated in this paper. Based on the image modeling of fabric surface at different scaling level, some essential features are defined and extracted to characterize the knit fabric appearance by using FFT methods, so as to evaluate the appearance of wool knitted fabric objectively.
