It is required that teachers should create language classroom environment which fosters learning greatly. The researcher adopts questionnaires investigating the perception of teachers and students on the English language classroom environment from physical, cognitive and psychological aspects. The paper is an attempt to analyze and find the major problems of current EFL teaching and classroom environment through the results of questionnaires. In conclusion, an optimal EFL classroom environment should be physically, cognitively and psychologically favorable. The three aspects which interrelate with each other construct a whole environment for language learning.
