Abstract
Business Ecosystems come together partially intentional and partially in an “accidental” manner: Leading companies, established suppliers and new actors (customers, engineers, fans) work together to achieve common goals. Therefore new constellations of participants in the innovation process can arise. To give these new actors a common direction for the development process the leading company within a Business Ecosystem has to define requirements. In the past most research on requirements management has focused on the interaction between established companies along the supply chain. Setting up suitable requirements for new actors in the innovation process needs further research.
