Abstract
The interest in solar technology as a very promising source of energy is accelerating. The industry is developing with a great speed; technology experts along with researchers propose different methods to predict the future state of the industry, especially in terms of efficiency of solar panels and their cost. This paper applies TFDEA for forecasting the solar technology with focus on the main technologies of thin film and crystalline silicon photovoltaic solar panels.
