  • Abstract
    Rough set theory is a mathematic method which analyses and treats vagueness and uncertainty, and offers an effective method to data fusion system. This paper compares rough set theory with D-S (Dempster Shafer) theory and fuzzy set theory, introduces some applications of rough set into data preprocessing, design of neural network architecture and data fusion system, discusses and summarizes the key technology, current status and the trends of rough set application in data fusion.
