Abstract :
The principle of the closed loop degaussing (CLDG) system is based on a real-time anomaly evaluation by using internal magnetic sensors. This paper focuses on the problem of deployment regions of these sensors for double hull submarines. The six hexahedral surface integral equation method is used to calculate the magnetic anomaly of a double hull submarine simulation mock-up when the magnetic moments of the inner device, the inner hull or the outer hull vary respectively. The deployment region of sensors can be determined according to the magnetic anomaly variations.
