Abstract
This paper presents a research study of how decision-making (D-M) under uncertainty and complexity is experienced from the accounts of a discrete set of decision-makers, using Grounded Theory Methodology. D-M in uncertain and complex situations is a balance between facts and the decision-maker´s previous experiences. What drives a decision-maker are the emotional forces, which guide a D-M process or the decision maker´s learning story, constructing a social web from where he tries to obtain information to fill the lack of it and support the emotional feeling for what is the best.
