Abstract
Emotions are states of mind that occur impulsively without taking any mindful effort and convoy with changes physiologically. The buzz word emotional intelligence is gathering lots of attention among everybody to express oneself in the most appropriate way. This study attempts to analyze Emotional Intelligence among a sample of randomly selected 100 post graduates students of Business Administration, to find out if gender and age has any influence over emotional intelligence which is analyzed with the help of a self assessment questionnaire on Emotional intelligence using the statistical tool percentage analysis and one way ANOVA. The results have shown that age and gender does not influence emotional intelligence.
