Abstract :
This paper presents a scheme and logic of a synchronized move generation of two hydraulic cylinders for a tilting train using a Delta RMC controller. A high speed sampling rate of 1 ms is implemented for accurate motion control. For a systematic design and maintenance, the controller is grouped into three modules; a CPU module including control logic and generating commands of the proportional valve from a LVDT feedback signal, an analog I/O module receiving loadcell values and transmitting force loads, and a digital module generating relay commands for emergency stops. The performance of the synchronized motion control of two cylinders is evaluated through experimental studies.
