  • Abstract
On the basis of analyzing and comparing the evaluating method, this paper selects TOPSIS method based on entropy weight as an evaluating tool. After an in-depth investigation of the thermal power enterprise, this paper establishes the evaluation indexes and the main evaluation indexes are as follows: coal quantity, contract fulfillment rate, calorific value, sulfur portion and incoming unit price. From the evaluation results it can be seen that coal quantity and the calorific value are the vital influence factors to decide the degree of thermal power enterprise´s coal suppliers. Supplier optimization is conducted on the basis of the evaluation results. The optimization results show that purchasing cost is the lowest when choosing suppliers whose relative proximity are higher (this article take 0.7 or above) and thus making centralized procurement.
