Abstract
This paper analyzes China´s TD-SCDMA industry from the network perspective. We make use of Hakansson´s network analysis framework which is composed of actor, resource, and activity, to discuss the case of China´s TD-SCDMA Industry. The general actors of industry refer to different nodes like firms, suppliers, operators, universities, research institutions, and government, they make complementary and do synergy for the knowledge sharing and technology standard evolution; the resources of the industry not only refer to the resources and capabilities that actors hold, but also refer to the overall spillover effect of them; the activity includes all the incidents and activities that happened in the industry or context that influence the development of China´s TD-SCDMA Industry. The paper indicates that network perspective shows a good and logic framework to analyze the industry case and the synergy of actors, resources and activities do contribution to the development and evolution of China´s TD-SCDMA Industry.
