Abstract
SAR application research committee was established in 2005 to examine the extensive application fields using the latest high-resolution SAR satellite. Main targets at the beginning was national disaster prevention, however it expands to the environmental monitoring. In this paper, we reviewed the role and outline of the committee, and also summarized the output of the selected subject in 3rd term. The continuation of this committee, and the accumulation of the knowledge contributes to the continuous usage of the SAR data for various application field in future.
