Abstract
This paper studies H∞ filtering problem for T-S fuzzy systems in network environment. Considering the limitations of network communication bandwidth, a new discrete event-triggered communication scheme is introduced to avoid the transmission of unnecessary information. Whether or not the measured output is sent depends on the sampled output of the recent transmission and the error between the current sampled output and the sampled output of the recent transmission. By Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional approach, a sufficient condition for the existence of the delay-dependent networked H∞ filter is established in terms of linear matrix inequalities for filtering error systems. The proposed event-triggered communication scheme not only reduces the use of communication bandwidth, but also ensures the desired system performance. Moreover, a co-design method of the filter and event-triggered communication scheme is provided. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
