Abstract
In order to determine a suitable model of the control function of the cardiovascular system (CVS) in the case of a constant effort, a state feedback controller obtained through a pole allocation technique is proposed. As starting point, a well known model of the CVS with a similar controller, developed as a solution of an optimal linear quadratic problem, is used. The pole allocation technique implements a pole by pole relocation algorithm. The developed model is validated through a simulation scenario.
