  • Abstract
    With the increasing interest in matrix converter technology, in industrial, aerospace and military applications, it is desirable for these converters to continue to operate in faulty conditions. Albeit with diminished performance in some regard. However for continued operation it is necessary to localise any converter faults quickly and accurately. This paper presents a low frequency modulation table based fault localisation system for matrix converters using Space Vector Modulation (SVM). With the fault detection system implemented as a fuzzy inference system.
