Abstract
This paper investigates the problem of global stabilization problem for a class of switched nonlinear systems under a pre-given switching law with dwell time. For any given dwell time, we first design nonlinear and linear controllers, each of which contains a tuning parameter. We then propose the controller selection mechanism to determine which controller is used and the parameter tuning mechanism related to the dwell time to tune online the controller parameter. It is shown that under the proposed method, the global asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system is achieved under the pre-given switching law with dwell time. A simulation example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
