Abstract :
Conservative time advancement ensures the logical correctness of a simulation system, yet it restricts the speed of time advancement. To improve the efficiency of simulation execution without breaking the logical correctness, it´s necessary to research the time management service of a distributed simulation system. To improve the performance of Distributed Simulation time management, this paper analyses the reason of low speed time advancement of Distributed Simulation based on HLA, and proposes the “Limited Correlation” Strategy. By grouping the federates in simulation execution, Limited Correlation Strategy combines the Time-driven and Event-driven ways of time advancement to optimize the time management performance. Through experimental verification, it is proofed that the Limited Correlation Strategy indeed improves the performance of time management.
