Abstract :
This paper has presented a formulation of the two-dimensional electromagnetic scattering from a periodic array of circular cylinders, in which a cylinder is replaced by another cylinder with slight displacement. The present formulation is an extension of recursive transition-matrix algorithm (RTMA) with the lattice sum technique, which was developed for the scattering problem of periodic array of circular cylinders, and the concept of the pseudo-periodic Fourier transform is also used. The formulation will be verified by numerical experiments on the presentation though this paper does not include the results because of the page limitation.
