Abstract
The paper deals with the spectral and angular characteristics of a relativistic vircator. In a relativistic case the radiation is shown to be concentrated on surfaces of two cones with the angle of 2θ~mc2/E near the plane of oscillating electrons. In this case the total radiation power is W~ (E/mc2) 3 and a maximum of radiation is at the first harmonics in the spectrum.
