Abstract
A way to fully characterize the electromagnetic (EM) emission from a 3D radiator over a finite ground plane is demonstrated in this paper. Here the real-life scenario is assumed and all the possible sources of emissions (including edge diffractions) at the near-field observation planes are taken into consideration. An equivalent dipole modeling method that employs a hybrid technique based on MoM-PO-UTD, a Method of Moment - Physical Optics-Uniform Geometric Theory of Diffraction- hybrid is used to compute these fields which include those due to edge diffraction and other sources.
