Abstract
Due to the randomness and intermittent characteristics of wind energy, the integration of wind farm may have many negative effects on the operation of the distribution networks. In this paper, a scenario-based evaluation framework is established for the theoretically analysis of influences introduced by the uncertainties of wind power integration. Then, a set of well designed evaluation indexes are presented to comprehensively reflect the operation state of power system. Further, the key steps as well as some technical details of the evaluation framework are described. Finally, a case study based on a distribution network in Western China is made to verify the effectiveness of the proposed framework.
