Abstract :
This paper describes a systematic approach to the control design of voltage-sourced inverters (VSIs). The proposed method can unify voltage and current controllers into the system model based on the internal model principle. Not only the system dynamic can be characterized mathematically, but the control object can follow its reference input without incurring steady-state error. To further adapt the VSI controller over diverse operating points along with satisfactory performance, the control gains are scheduled corresponding to various loading conditions in order to achieve the desired time-domain specifications portrayed by closed-loop eigenvalues. The experimental results confirm the performance of the proposed strategy.
