  • Abstract
    We have developed and tested a 2.4-MW permanent magnet generator (PMG). We showed that PWM pulse patterns have a great impact on the temperature rise of the permanent magnet in a PMG. Additionally, calculated temperature rise distributions agree well with the measured ones.
